Iordache Ovidiu Daniel is a wildlife and bird photographer based in Taiwan, with a strong focus on raptors and wild birds in their natural environments. Originally from Europe and now living in Taiwan, Daniel developed a deep interest in observing and photographing birds of prey, especially their gaze, flight behavior, hunting moments, and interactions in the wild. His photography is guided by patience, careful observation, and a highly selective approach. For him, light, posture, sharpness, and eye contact are essential elements in a successful wildlife image. Daniel often spends long hours in the field waiting for brief moments when a bird’s movement, expression, and environment come together. Many field trips may result in only one photograph, or none at all, but this process is central to his way of working. Through his bird photography, Daniel aims to document not only the power and beauty of wild raptors, but also their instinct, focus, and quiet presence in nature.
