Recently, I've been playing around macro photography as a way to explore abstract photography and explore the natural patterns in nature. On a trip to Arizona to shoot the Milky Way, I couldn't get the right sky conditions to see the stars so I went to explore the flora of a local botanical garden. It was there that I noticed that the top of of cacti look like desert snowflakes.
