In 2014, this Sullivans Cove Single Malt Whisky was awarded Best Single Malt at the World Whisky Awards. I was commissioned by The Whisky Club Australia to create images to promote the sale of a rare bottle of this sought after Tasmanian whisky. My concept was to create a still life that pitched the age old Scottish heritage of Single Malt Scotch Whisky production against the irony of this Best Single Malt Whisky coming from a polar opposite Southern Hemisphere place in the world – Tasmania. The mountain behind is the iconic Cradle Mountain, in the Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park, Tasmania.
