A man pauses at a street corner and the light finds him — that ordinary, unrepeatable second when a stranger becomes a portrait. This frame belongs to my street practice: watching, waiting, and letting the city hand me a face worth holding. Strong directional light does the work of a studio it never entered, carving the figure out of the noise around him. I am drawn to people caught between motion and stillness, to the quiet dignity of an unposed moment — photography as the art of being ready when a life briefly composes itself in front of the lens.
