"I had the blessing of watching the eruption of Kilauea Volcano on June 1, 2026. It was a sight I never imagined being present for, but our vacation just happened to be at the right time. As I stood and watched this astonishing rain of lava fountaining into the air, I couldn't help but notice the splatter as it hit the ground. It was spectacular to watch the globs of lava burst as they hit the ground and bounced outward, creating more glowing earth. Then it would flow down the hill, making a river-like effect."
