This is a family business that produces steel springs to order. A niche business, owned and run by the Edvardsen family -started in 1967 It is the only factory in Norway that produces steel springs in sizes 0.2mm to 45mm. Aakrene Fjearfabrikk AS supplies steel springs to industry, offshore, maritime, the Armed Forces, agriculture, road work, construction, wood processing, mines, tunnels, transport and cars. They also are assigned to develop prototypes of steel springs. Production takes place using manual labor and manual machines - from the drawing board to finished steel springs. With this book I want to convey "A Little Piece of Norwegian Industrial History"
