Mountains do not always arrive with grandeur. Sometimes, they emerge—quietly, slowly—from mist and cloud, revealing themselves only in fragments. This series captures that moment of in-between: when the world is both present and withheld, when mass becomes apparition. In the first image, a Swiss peak cuts through a pale veil of fog, its form reduced to light, edge, and breath. In the second, a solitary summit rises like a mythic monolith from the storm—its peak exposed, its base forgotten. The Seen and the Unseen reflects on how landscape is not only found, but revealed. These are not portraits of mountains, but portraits of appearances—of what decides to be visible, and what stays in silence.
