A cacophony of Canadian Geese takes flight at the New Mexico wildlife refuge, Bosque Del Apache. Why does the flight of birds evoke such pleasure. There's some primal connection we feel when impossibly large numbers of wildlife travel great distances. And over the millennium, this connection seems to have become wired into our DNA.
