The Royal Protocol for a Crown of Cosmic Significance

The Sun is metaphorically known as the "king of the sky". It radiates, provides energy, and illuminates the Earth. The Moon is symbolically known as the "queen of the night sky". It inspires poets and illuminates our darkest hours. During the total eclipse on April 8th 2024, both met in a celestial ballet and followed precise protocol. This series shows results of a highly technical challenge to photograph "every significant step" of the 200 second ceremonial (diamond rings, Baily's beads, chromosphere, the Crown, prominences, and the most difficult one: Earthshine). The protocol was complete! The challenge was successfully met, especially for the challenging "star" of the show: Earthshine.
