I'm currently working on a long-term project, traveling Indonesia and photographing some of their many people and their culture(s). This particular photo was taken in Bali where I was introduced to this lovely couple in a village not far from Ubud. Both their bodies and faces are witnesses of a hard life, yet they both radiate so much positivity, calmness, love and life. The couple is wearing traditional, old-fashioned Balinese clothing blending in with the very typical Balinese background: their village temple.
