Two fighting stallions. This is what horses do when living wild. It is us, owners who deprive them of their natural behaviour, being overprotective or afraid of vet bills. Keeping stallions alone often leads to them becoming frustrated, aggressive and difficult to handle. Horses are highly social animals and they are unhappy when they can't interact with others. In many countries, stallions are being kept together on pastures and after establishing their "pecking order", they live in harmony. The stallions playing for us during this photoshoot were closely supervised to avoid any risk. None of the horses got injured, and they were quite happy together after a while.
