Christmas in Downtown

Milan is certainly the most European Italian city and Piazza Gae Aulenti is a truly futuristic area of Milan. I took this photo during the Christmas period, at night, without tripod and using a fish eye lens. The purpose was to transmit the vital energy that was breathed there and at the same time a certain intimacy Crossroads between the historic center and the financial districts, Gae Aulenti Square and the buildings that surround it are the result of the rehabilitation project of three neighborhoods. The urban complex is the work of the architect Cesar Pelli. Around the square there are different buildings with a surprising design. One of these is what you see in the image that constitutes the tallest skyscraper in Italy, that at night seems to want to rise even higher, projecting its red light into the cloudy sky
